Nvidia Gamer Team is good at making gamers wait longer between upgrades.
Nvidia AI team is good at actually making progress towards improving society in general.
    Good job AI team!

Tbh it’s worth it until your favorite game isn’t available or you can’t play with mods lol. I have the 3080 membership and I love it, but when I wanna play Cities Skylines with mods or like Elden Ring, it’s very frustrating.

@Dan Gam That’s a bummer. I just checked and no Elder Scroll titles at all. Interesting that studios like Bethesda can stop Nvidia from offering the titles I paid with my own money. Why do I feel like someone else actually owns my games?

      January 3, 2023 at 9:43 pm

@NYC Person Rockstar removed their titles also. GeForce Now would be amazing if it didn’t restrict so many titles or mods. Cities Skylines only works with mods through a work around but it’s an annoying one.

a laptop running rtx should be hilarious. battery life 15 seconds and dlss on or you get 10 fps

My RTX 2060 laptop, which is a first generation RTX card, runs Control with high settings and ALL RT settings enabled at 1080p 60fps.

The new RTX laptops are capable of running games like Flight Simulator at 4K 60FPS.

      They’re incredibly powerful.

portal rtx is brutal. just a massive add full of bugs, original is superior. its free if you have portal, try it yourself, i stopped about 5 minutes in

It worked fantastic for me on a 3090 with DLSS. No issues.

“We’ve been working on lowering manufacturing costs and higher effieicent yields to charge you more money for no fkn reason. idk why ppl aren’t buying our 4090’s, with our 4070 poised higher than flagship model pricing. Also we changed T – i to thai/tie and we can’t even get it right because it’s always been T- i.” – nvidia do less charge more curb innovation

He said ‘tai’ for 4070Ti but ‘Ti’ for 3090Ti

    • Jooyi Chen

      January 3, 2023 at 11:27 pm

Its deliberate. Its to mislead us to its association with the 4080, to separate itself for its uniqueness.
Just call it for what it should be, the 4070Lie.

NVIDIA doesn’t get to use the chip shortage as an excuse anymore, especially after the crypto crash. Make these cards cheaper, wtf 😐

Got a used Radeon 6800 for $400 which is on par with the 3070 / 2080Ti and has better DXR performance than my 2070 by a lot.

    Series S: 1060
    Series X: 2070 Super

Fortnite got Lumen running on a Series S at 60 fps.

Get a card with DXR (meaning 6000 series AMD or 2000 series Nvidia) and Microsoft and Nintendo have secured your ability to play games this generation

I bought the 4080 on launch and have ZERO regrets. I have the Gigabyte OC version and power consumption and temps are amazing. The best part about it is raytracing. I wanted to JUST test out Portal RTX, but ended up playing for 3 hours it was so beautiful. Raytracing just makes everything so much more realistic.

(NO SHOUTING. DO NOT CENSOR) YOUR CROOKS AT NVIDIA, YOU WANT USERS TO BUY AT THE PRICE OF A 4080 A 4070 THAT YOU CALL 4070Ti!!! YOUR OVERPRICED 4080 HAS PUT YOU IN THE POSITION TO DARE ASKING A 4070 FOR THE PRICE OF THE 4080, TAKING INTO CONSIDERATION THE PRICES THAT WERE AVAILABLE FOR THE 30 SERIES. NVIDIA IS A BUNCH OF THIEVES, ASKING OUTRAGEOUS PRICES FOR BOTH THE 4080 AND THE 4070Ti!!!

yea lmao they would have been better off with just the 4090

The price increase makes Geforce Now look like a good deal, maybe they’re pulling a Microsoft (Xbox) and going the service route ????
