Meta has agreed to pay up to $18 billion over ten years and adopt new protections for teenage users as part of a landmark settlement with states over its social media platforms. The company was sued by 29 state attorneys general, including West Virginia Attorney General JB McCuskey, who says the deal provides a “blueprint” for pursuing TikTok, YouTube, and other platforms. He joins Ed Ludlow on “Bloomberg Tech.”

What a joke. Meta has $60 billion net profit a year. It shows again who owns those politicians who quickly got bought out with pocket change to please the techno lords controlling them. The so called saftey changes to the algorithm aren’t even close to what they have to do in Europe. Again the people and children got sold out by their “representatives”.
