    So if Chinese car-makers are only doing EVs, then that leaves gasoline cars open for American and European car-makers.

      Or they will get left behind as EV technology matures and becomes superior to gasoline. Gasoline vehicles have nearly hit their ceiling of innovation while EVs are in their infancy.
