I met Billie Joe, he is not 5’8 🤣 I think Mike is maybe 5’8. Billie probably 5’6. Tre an inch shorter. Met them all multiple times in the 90s. I get tired of green days interviews. They have so many contrived and pre-rehearsed answers these days….To be fair, it must be exhausting to step out of their comfort zone and actually say something. But it’s not great to listen to, it just sounds robotic most of the time.

Dookie was the first CD I ever bought my mom almost didn’t let me get it because it had a parental advisory sticker on it. Nimrod and insomniac were after that, and there was no turning back. My friend and I got a guitar and a bass and would learn their songs playing them over and over again in his garage. I still rock out to those albums regularly.

Jesus of Suburbia is my favorite Green Day song. It’s helped me get through a lot. It’s a song that makes you feel all sorts of different emotions, but ends in a way that makes you feel stronger.
I remember being so excited when I first heard Billie Joe say it was his favorite song to play. It was like it came full circle then.

In junior high I only liked boulevard of broken dreams then in high school and so on I got into holiday, basket case, when I come around, welcome to paradise, American idiot, time of your life. Then last year I got into this song called waiting that I feel I vibe with. My favorite one idk maybe waiting. Welcome to paradise is an old favorite for some reason I played almost every day for quite some time. But you guys are one of the best rock bands in history and probably the best modern rock band in general that I know of cuz Im not a big modern rock guy much I don’t think. 21 guns is eh. I don’t understand how some people like the song warning. It’s not that great I don’t think
