Everything he’s been saying before deepseek was a lie… and people who know what’s going on, now know for 100% certainty that he was in fact lying. they needed to pretend that AI is A LOT better than reality. and took A LOT more money than reality.(They need a cut of that money for profit.)
They can no longer claim that AI will take 100s of millions to train(They just lost A LOT of profit.).
This guy though he was going to be wealthy beyond belief… and deepseek completely CRUSHED that belief.
That’s why he’s focused on China stealing your data… that’s literally the only thing he has to offer now.

We’re living through oil wars, wildfire smoke and extreme weather driven by a warming planet. But environmentalist Bill McKibben says one thing is finally going right: the price of clean energy has plunged, making it cheaper than ever to power the world without burning fossil fuels. He breaks down how energy from the sun became the best option on Earth — and why this narrow window of time may be our last real shot at a different future. “Energy from heaven, not from hell,” he says.

Artist Joe Whale used to get in trouble for doodling in class, until a local restaurant let him cover an entire wall with his artwork … and the internet took notice. He traces his unlikely beginning to a bigger story: your imagination is a muscle, and it weakens when you hand it off to AI. Through a live doodling demo, he shows in real time what it looks like to let a thought become a drawing, one line at a time. (Recorded at Play@TED on May 14, 2026)
