Hating on Emily Chang bc her surname sounds Chinese is just lazy hating.
Her genetic heritage is actually Scandinavian and she just married a guy called Chang. And he was born in Siberia and adopted by the Changovich family who shortened their name to Chang when they moved to America.

Racism, ignorance, some are Elon musk fanboys aka bromance. Emily hurt their feelings by criticising Elon some time ago. Whilst Elon moved on, they decided to, well, stay behind ???????? some are just kids, so that explains some of the behavior
