I already have an apple watch ultra, air pods pro, and an iphone. I have no need for what ever that is.

This was pretty neutral. I’m a fan of the absurd reports of how this will revolutionize the way people listen to music …. Controls for your music that you have on your phone or watch … and most of which you can do from the AirPods already.

I like the touchscreen headphones. I don’t think it’s what we need, touchscreen headphones in general, but it’s a cool idea.

This video ends with talk of “cleaning your ears” and a shot of someone sticking a pencil in her ear. Please do not do this. You should not put anything down your ear canal.

Wohoo! A brand new video from you. You make my day. I don’t expect a hit from the screen put in the charging unit. Does Apple think that the charging station would replace the phone itself? I expect from the new earbuds that they stay in the ears and instead of focusing on counter noise, a solution is found to eliminate the thump-thump noises that your own body produces when walking and running. Annoying voice. Ah, and last. Kisses. You are such a great lively person.

This could be real. Apple is bring back the IPod. I think Apple will discontinue the wired only charging case. The base case will have wireless and wired charging by default, the new upgraded case will be a the IPod Case for AirPod. Basically I think it could have everything the iPod could do plus charge your AirPods. I think Apple has found that there are people who want to leave their phone at home while running or jogging or in their lockers at the gym. They likely found that many of their Apple Watch users, don’t use their watch for music when iphone is not paired. These users are unaware that their watch can store hours of music on its on board memory and no phone or cell service is necessary. For these people the iPod case will give a familiar functionality and nostalgia back to simpler days of music listening with no iPhone required.

I’m still waiting for the 18 carrat gold plated AirPods that cost $10,000 … each! I’m perpetually fascinated by the audacity of Apple. I’m happy with £20 wired headphones personally, but I tell you, there is celebs out there that would definitely buy them.

A lot of patents don’t mean anything, other than to make sure that no one else can do it. I do not think it will ever become a product since the “business model” is to suck consumers into their ecosystem. We see this with Google, Apple, Microsoft, and other software companies

Earth Day: I wish Apple would bring back target display mode for iMacs. The displays on iMacs out live the usefulness of the computers by 4-8 years. While it is possible to convert older iMacs into standalone monitors it requires taking them apart and installing (questionable) controller boards.

Apple why did you take this away?

With regard to  sustainability, I say boo ! I just replaced my 2016 MBP because it would no longer receive OS updates from . I found a workaround called Open Core Legacy Patcher and Ventura ran fine on the machine, no thanks to . Had I traded my machine in to , I don’t know what would have become of it. I sold it to a private party. There’s no good reason for  to nudge users of their hardware, including iPhones, to abandon their devices prior to the end of their useful life. That’s planned obsolescence in an aggressive manner imo.

First of all the airpods pro suck because for me the left ear does not fit with any ear tips, it always loses the seal. So until the make them do the basics of fitting in the customers ear properly, then i can care less about anything else. And for the record, yes every brand in ear buds fit me with no issues. Only airpods pro in the one ear have problems. ✌️

This new way of treating depression starts with rewiring the brain #TEDTalks

The idea that depression comes from a chemical imbalance in the brain has shaped treatment for decades. Neuroscientist Lisa Monteggia shares research suggesting that’s not the whole story — and shows how a decades-old drug could upend what we thought we knew about depression, with the potential to offer relief within hours.
