They wait for others to sort out the kinks before they try it. What they did for watches, big phones now foldables.

@ManOfTank8964Yeah steal the design like I said years behind. From facial recognition opening. To the pen years behind.

@Kickpwns2026 They failed with their VR headset though, they’d be too scared to try anything they are not sure. The new engineer CEO could change that, hopefully. Though Jobs was never an engineer, he was a visionary.

@ManOfTank8964NOBODY uses VR bro let’s be real. That was just a hype thing just like that META WORLD from FB. Androids absolutely dominate the phone industry. Let’s be real Iphones are sheep phone for non savvy tech users. Can’t even do modifications without the Apple store going all koo-koo on me😅

This is why Jobs was unique. Apple’s developers need to come up with first to market ideas, but the only person who was brave enough to take the hit if it failed, was Steve Jobs.

You lost me at your “pun counter” joke, which probably sounded cute and clever when you discussed over Zoom or Teams, but it comes across as immediately desperate and cringe in the way someone not at all funny tries to be funny and just isn’t. At all. Yuck. I’m embarrassed for you.

My honest and frank opinion:
Foldables look cool, but I think it’s more of a marketing gimmick rather than a useful and functional feature of technology.
I would like to see Apple make a watch band that can house a health tracking device; aside from the usual upgraded phones and smart watches.

Nonsense. The multitasking ability on a fold is very efficient. Example, making online payments and having your bank app open at the same time to confirm it…
Playing a game and watching a video at the same time…
Making a booking whilst having the calender open to cross check…
If youve never owned one, you’d never know

Then you clearly haven’t used one… I do expect Apples foldable to be a software nightmare tho

iPhone 18 base model is going to be called iPhone 19. That way they don’t skip 19 and after that by next September 2027 they can release iPhone 20 that way there is no 7 8 9. Or 7 ate 9. Lol. Get it? Lol.

It would be cool to have a phone you can also multitask with like with a tablet or play games or watch videos that benefit from a larger screen 📺 but not if it’s like 2K
