Wtf is this interview? I appreciate the first half when the host was asking about, and the guest was responding to questions actually relating to pharmaceutical industry, but the second half just turned into irrelevant, tiresome political messaging. Just stop it. Stick to the topic of the interview.

Or how about we just get universal healthcare like they have in all other developed nations instead of all these tweaks here and there? Also has Cuban paid people in the audience to cheer for him? It’s so cringe.

    • @SepticEmpire

      December 5, 2024 at 5:24 pm

Universal healthcare is what we need but do you really think any politician would ever wanna do that? But getting medication lowered is a good first start. Let’s just hope no one else messes it up and makes it expensive again.

  11. @Hongobogologomo

Unfortunately we live in a world where everything is ran by money. Yes health SHOULD be free. But no one is going to make medicine or do surgeries for free. Unfortunately that is just not a world we live in. So long as the concept of money exists, nothing can ever truly be free.

By his logic all the excessive profit in the insane drug price chain were inflated by the pharmacy and nothing to do with the drug companies manufacturing the drug. That’s just not true. I’m not a pharmacist, but I do know that when we say big pharma we are not talking about CVS but rather Purdue and Pfizer and such. Easy to check his BS. Look at the revenues and market caps of all the big drug makes. Then the pharmacy stores. It’s the big drug manufacturers that are making obscene profits. So Cuban is just pandering to big pharma here

First of all the answers are pretty simple, pharmacy companies invest money to create. Then sell their product for 10 years , then they can sell it genetically. There is a lot of greed in this industry. What they should be doing selling it until they make back their investment and then it should be reasonably priced.🤷‍♂️
