I feel better knowing there’s a reason for freezing up when something scary happens to you. I was molested in the street, and froze up. Afterwards I could not understand why I didn’t respond in any way. It’s not very useful nowadays, but I’m glad to know it has some survival function.

Speaking as someone with a specialized military background and now a Psychotherapist (Psy.D.) EACH AND EVERY ONE OF THESE RESPONSES CAN AND ARE TRAINED AWAY TO ACHIEVE A SUPERIOR TACTICAL ADVANTAGE‼️
These trading are long, relatively slow to achieve, but one imprinted, become a higher ranked instinctual response then ANY Limbic response. This will make highly trained and specialized soldiers, orders of magnitude more effective than non-trained soldiers.
If we’re putting all our cards on the table, this means breaking someone down systematically and psychologically, over and over, repeating specific training, over an extended period of time.
Now, to acclimate these highly specialized operatives to regular, run of the mill life, they must be just as purposely, re-acclimated to a civilian tone of existence. But make no mistake, they were broken down, and can never go back to their pre-military “normal”‼️

That kind of research is pretty far out there.
The accepted approach is to help him as much as you can, know that it’s probably genetic if its super early in life.
The brain pulls a lot of energy(nothing goes to waste) and a lack of communication skills can manifest as skills in other areas. They have therapy for kids who are like that.

A design still requires a method of production to be anything but an idea, unless you believe this is all a simulation, which would make a design without manufacturing/development plausible.
Look at any design ever created (you did not witness God’s creation, you merely ARE God’s creation, so that doesn’t count), and you will see that many prior versions will precede a more perfect or current design.
Evolution is God doing research and development in the study of life. God is absolutely compatible with evolution.

The supersternal notch is a great place to control people– do a slow spear hand into it and they crumple, but you don’t risk killing them because you’re just compressing their trachea instead of crushing their larynx– it’s just REALLY unpleasant, but effective. Why not cut to the chase: we have this reflex because it’s useful TODAY and at all times really. Why bring evolution storytelling into it, besides trying to sound sophisticated?
Really, all these reflexes do have purposes today. Mothers still have hair. Threats still exist. Physics and kinetics are still real.
